Furniture palette collaboration

Our brief was to create a masculine-leaning environment to help activate the current space, celebrating the tactile, immersive experience of physical retail.
Our colour palette was carefully chosen to sit comfortably with the materials used to make Another Country’s furniture collection as well as highlighting the architectural details within the showroom space. We turned to the brownish purple of Rose Uniacke’s ‘Aubergine’ and 'Basalt,' a blue-black by Little Greene as our anchor colours.
The neutral that forms the base of the showroom is the warm Travertine, also by Little Greene, which sits alongside an earthy highlight found in Francesca Paints ‘Pumproom Rust’.
To create the tactile layering for the showroom walls we chose textiles by Maria Sigma , Caterina Riccabona , House of Quinn and Mary Norden as well as collages also by House of Quinn and Alice Sheppard Fidler from Among the Pines gallery. We wanted objects within the collection to be handmade using a variety of materials and techniques.
